One of the feature events of the afternoon is the Listed Feilden Stakes over 1m1f and we are taking a stab at a price with Canberra Legend for trainer James Ferguson.

Believed to be highly touted from this yard the well bred son of Australia was seen for the first time at Newcastle in February and went on to bolt up over a mile.

Newcastle has been a racecourse used by many smart stars on debut as a stepping stone to a great career and with stamina in this horses pedigree and more expected for the switch to turf, he can outrun his odds of 9/1.

His trainer James Ferguson heads into Wednesday sporting a strike rate of 44% for the last two weeks with four winners from his last nine runners.

This colt has the pedigree to handle softer ground and could be very exciting for the yard.

Trainer To Follow - John & Thady Gosden

John & Thady Gosden could be set for a huge season and on the Wednesday of the Craven meeting they are set to release some nice talents.

The first comes in the Listed Feilden Stakes over 1m1f and Intinso was a very nice winner on debut at Newcastle and if improving since that has a big chance to lay a marker down for the season.

In the feature Grade Three Nell Gwyn Stakes over 7f sees the Gosden's leading 1000 Guineas hope Coppice look to land back to back races.

The training partnerships next big chance of the afternoon comes in the Maiden Fillies' Stakes over a mile and third on debut Ludmilla looks set to go close.

Jockey To Follow - Daniel Muscutt

Daniel Muscutt has some nice rides across the afternoon on Wednesday and we think he is a jockey worth following across the day and the meeting.

The first ride of the afternoon for Muscutt comes in the Listed Feilden Stakes where Canberra Legend is well bred son of Australia and could lay down a big claim for the 2000 Guineas.

Muscutt then rides Lady Claypole again for James Ferguson with the filly looking to build on her first two starts on the flat and in the finale Like A Tiger is the worthy favourite in the Class 3 Handicap over 1m2f.

Muscutt heads into the meeting sporting a strike rate of 23% for the last two weeks, managing to land seven winners from his last 31 rides.
