One trainer, jockey and horse to follow at Clairefontaine on Thursday

Horse To Follow - Tarida

The horse we believe will pay to follow tomorrow comes in the Prix des Epinettes mile handicap for three year olds and Tarida for the in form Francis-Henri Graffard looks tough to beat.

Pierre-Charles Boudot gets the mount and he has also been in peak form since the return to racing in France and now joining up with this filly again she can go well.

The three year old is a very smart type that has not finished outside of the top two on her last four starts and with conditions and trip to suit, you can't look anywhere else.

Trainer To Follow - Andre Fabre

Andre Fabre did not start off the new season in great shape with it looking like his horses needed a run but now the master French handler seems to have got his yard firing on all cylinders.

He has some very nice runners at Clairefontaine on Thursday and we believe he may just pay to follow throughout the day.

During the last two weeks he has landed seven winners from just 32 runners, which has seen him run at a strike rate of 21.88%.

Fabre is also not shy of having winners at this track, especially in the last 12 months with seven winners and three places from just 20 runners, coming out at a strike rate of 35.00%.

Jockey To Follow - Christophe Soumillon

Finally the jockey follow on what looks like it will be a fine day at Clairefontaine is Christophe Soumillon who over the last two weeks has been in fine fettle.

He has landed eight winners from 46 rides running at a strike rate of 17.39% and that is not to mention the horses he has managed to get up into places from nowhere.

Christophe Soumillon is one of the most famous jockeys on the French racing circuit and he can show all his talents on a great book of rides on Thursday.
