Again, we are looking back at some of the best Betfair Chase contests over the years and today it is the turn of the legendary Kauto Star, who landed the event four times during his career.

In this renewal the gelding was in his last season at the age of 11 and still managed to see off a superb field that included the 2010 winner of the race Long Run.
Kauto Star will always go down at one of the greatest chasers in British jumps racing history and there are not many horses that will ever be able to do what he did during his career.
