ITV Racing Tips for Today - Tuesday 16th June

It's Day One from Royal Ascot taking centre stage on ITV Racing for the afternoon. With Group races and more to go through, there's an action packed 7 live televised races. We've gone through all of them to pick out our tips and selections for the afternoon.

Notable Speech 15/8

Had a quite brilliant start to his career and this Guineas and Sussex Stakes winner looks the one to beat here. Charlie Appleby really seems to be hitting form at the same time and Will Buick chooses to ride this son of Dubawi despite Godolphin having three in this race.

Siouxperb 14/1

Wasn't a cheap purchase and more than delivered on debut when winning easily. Yard won this race in 2022 so you can see the appeal and he clearly looks a talented horse so can definitely go close in what is generally an open race. Form also franked twice with the horse behind him on debut going on to win two times since.

Rumstar 18/1

Put in a cracking effort last time out when only very narrowly beaten and considering that was his first run for 224 days, you'd think there's more to come here so can be in the mix at a price. Has also won over this course and distance in the past.

Bow Echo 5/6

Is unbeaten in four starts and it's hard to look elsewhere again here as he just looks way too good. Has already beaten Gstaad in the 2000 Guineas with the way he's going he can even improve more for this task. Trainer George Boughey has a real star on his hands.

Bunting 12/1

Willie Mullins has two in this and we've gone with the horse that gives off more value in Bunting. A big ride for young claimer Harry Vigors but his 7lb claim may just prove pivotal here. Can go well off this sort of mark.

Map Of Stars 12/1

Looked a very smart horse last spring and hasn't quite continued that form in recent starts but cheekpieces going on him here makes him an interesting value pick. New Zealand born jockey James McDonald booked to ride and it'll be a surprise if he doesn't have a part to play in riding winners at Ascot.

Gamrai 13/2

Has been a consistent sort so far for the Gosden's and this step up in trip may just unlock some hidden potential we've not quite seen yet. More to come for sure off this sort of mark as well and Oisin Murphy rides having won and finished second on him two times in the past.
