Mark Johnston, Joe Fanning & Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, now that is a trio more iconic than Atomic Kitten and they team up with just the one runner on the south coast this afternoon.
By 2009 Gimcrack Stakes winner Showcasing, the three year old gelding was sent off at 10/1 on debut over 7f at Leicester last month but just failed to deliver when finishing a 22 lengths fourth behind some potentially nice types.
The form from that race is nonexistent with this gelding being the first horse from that race to run since however despite the losing margin, he was staying on from the back in that race and the step up to a mile here may well suit him and there's clearly a reason as to why Johnston has sent just him down to Brighton today.
