Who To Follow At The Curragh On Sunday - 25/09/22

Trainer To Follow - Joseph O'Brien

Joseph O'Brien heads into the weekend in a fine run of form currently running at a strike of 23% for the last two weeks with 13 winners from 58 runners.

His big chance in the opener is the Qatar Racing owned Dark Side who was a good second on his debut on heavy ground and on a better surface should improve.

O'Brien has two other chances in the next with the unraced Nurburgring and Mount King who was a decent fifth on debut and should come on for that.

The young trained best chance of the day comes in the Group Three Weld Stakes with Caroline Street who was a good second in a Group Two on Irish Champions weekend and this looks a much easier event.

Other nice chances for the yard on Sunday include Cleveland, Okita Soushi, Benaud, Merroir, Powerful Aggie, Master Of Reality and Inuit in the Irish Cesarewitch.

To round off the day American Sonja and Hibernia Oppositus have chances in the final two races and it could see a good day for the handler.

Jockey To Follow - Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore comes over to Ireland for a handful of nice rides on Sunday starting in the opener with Espionage who leads the market after his second at Galway on debut.

Moore's next ride is in the Group Three Renaissance Stakes on King Of Bavaria who is looking to bounce back to form and then in the Weld Stakes Dower House is a very interesting runner for Aidan O'Brien.

In the Irish Cesarewitch Moore jumps on Wordsworth who is a 25/1 shot that has been seen in better company and could run a big race over this further trip.
