Al Azd remains relatively unexposed and looks the type to have more to offer in handicap company. He has already shown plenty of ability this season and a return to this level after tackling stronger opposition could see him take a big step forward.

Outback Heat 10/1

Outback Heat has been progressing nicely this season and looks to have been aimed at a race like the Britannia. A strongly-run mile around Ascot could be ideal and he's one of the more interesting handicap runners on the card.

Endorsement has done everything right so far and still looks to have plenty of improvement left in him. His form is working out well and he looks capable of making a bold bid in what should be another informative test.

Royal Velvet comes into the race in good heart and could be ready to produce a career-best effort. The likely strong pace should suit his style and he's one to keep firmly onside in a typically competitive handicap.
