ITV Racing Tips for Today - Saturday 26th June

It's Northumberland Plate Day at Newcastle and there are also some races from York with eight races taking place on ITV Racing. With the feature Northumberland Plate Handicap being supported by more Group action at Newcastle and York. We've gone through all eight live races to pick out our selections for the day.

Bobby Bennu 6/1

Arrives here off the back of a very encouraging run when a close fourth at Chester and looks like he'll improve plenty for that back on the A/W here. Yard hitting form and he's yet to finish out of the top three in four starts on the A/W, big player.

Jimmy Speaking 16/1

Returns to last winning trip of 7 furlongs here and last winning jockey Silvestre de Sousa is also back in the saddle which has to be seen as a positive. Down in Class today and could outrun odds if tracking some of the fast paced leaders out in front.

Diligent Harry 4/1

A very talented horse who won this race last year and he looks like he could come and do the exact same thing here. Saffie Osborne rode that day and she's back in the saddle, should go very close. The horse is also 3-5 over this course and distance.

Shes Got A Brother 11/1

Looks overpriced here seeing she ran well in a better race than this just one week ago so should go well down in Class and back on ground she's more used to.

Charging Thunder 25/1

Has shown ability for this trainer and he's worth chancing today especially at the prices. This 5lb claimer rode him well three starts ago and interesting to see him back aboard in this. Will go close if showing similar form to what he did at this track last term.

Never So Brave 1/1

Excuses to be had on softer ground compared to what he's used to 21 days ago and the market reflects that a bounce back is well on the cards. Has also won over this course and distance in the past, could well show why he's still talented here.

Synergism 14/1

Ticks the trend boxes to do well in this and must be a major player at an attractive looking price too. Has to deal with the penalty given to him after his cosy success last time out but it would be no shock to see even more from this horse who is clearly on the up.

Al Najashi 9/1

Was a winning machine before last run completing a quite impressive five-timer. Didn't react well to turf 45 days ago and must be feared back on the A/W where all those past victories came.
