Trainer To Follow - Charlie Appleby

Charlie Appleby sends two runners to Newbury on Saturday that both have big chances and with the card being full of small fields that makes him the handler to follow.

His best chance of the day comes in the Listed Denford Stakes with Victory Dance dropping back in grade and if improving again should not be beat.

Appleby's final runner comes in the 7f BetVictor Handicap and although blanking on his last two runs his form before that is strong and he could bounce back in this race.

The Godolphin maestro heads into the weekend sporting a strike rate of 40% with him managing to land 12 winners from his last 30 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Tom Marquand

Tom Marquand looks to have a nice book of rides at Newbury on Saturday which could see him in the winners enclosure and bringing up his strike rate for the last two weeks.

In the opener he rides Frantack who looks to be a working progress for the Haggas yard but could still be talented.

Marquand teams up with Richard Hughes for the Queen on the unbeaten Candle Of Hope who looks a smart filly that could land a hat-trick.

Zechariah is getting weight off the field and getting back to his Royal Ascot form gives him a big chance for Marquand and then in the feature Group Two Hungerford Stakes Tiber Flow has been backed off the boards and looks dangerous.
