The Flying Five Stakes at The Curragh on Sunday sees some of the best sprinters in the sport take on one another for Group One Glory and 2019's renewal did not disappoint.
Aidan O'Brien has landed this race two times in the last three years but overall in his trining career, this is one of the few Irish black type races that he has not dominated.
However, last term the filly Fairyland won for the first time for nearly year when taking the Flying Five Stakes, having posted some decent efforts in good company but not being able to get her head in front for a long time.
Before that win her latest victory came at Newmarket in the Group One Cheveley Park Stud and overall two black type wins in her career reads very well.
