ITV Racing Tips for Today - Saturday 11th July 2026

It's a stellar day of racing, with action coming from three different courses as Newmarket, Ascot and York all host quality racing cards. With the July Cup taking the feature spot, supported by Group Action from both York and Ascot, we've taken a look at all twelve races live on ITV racing and picked out our tips and selections for the day.

Haffner 11/8

Brings experience to the table for this maiden having come 2nd at the Curragh over 6 furlongs to a stablemate. Looked like this extra furlong would draw out improvement and represents top connections in Aidan O’Brien.

Adrestia 14/1

Won the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes at Royal Ascot last year and can be forgiven for lacklustre efforts this season, needing the run on return and a late blindfold removal last time out ruining her chance. Dropped to a workable looking mark of 96 now and back at a venue that suits she could bounce back to form. Colin Keane a notable jockey booking.

Song N Dance 9/2

Strong form in her last handicap run, splitting the winner of a listed race and a Royal Ascot handicap and looks to have gotten away lightly with just a 1lbs rise in the weights. Drops back slightly in trip but a good pace over 7 furlongs should see her to maximum effect.

More Thunder 6/4

Has run to a solid level this campaign coming 2nd in two Group Ones and was only beaten half a length in the Queen Anne Stakes over C+D at the Royal Meeting. Eases back in Grade slightly now and is unpenalised for group wins last season. Holds his nearest market rivals on his Royal Ascot form.

Cosi Bello 9/2

Won well over 7 furlongs at Haydock in April and not harshly hit with a 2lbs rise. Looked to lack a little pace at Royal Ascot but steps up in trip and still looks well enough treated to play a hand.

Moonfall 3/1

Given an expert ride by Zac Purton in the Britannia Stakes to a gutsy win from the front and doesn’t look to have been too harshly hit at the weights. Faces a smaller and less competitive field here and is still progressing as a miler. Likely more to come in this sphere.

Dickensian 16/1

Won over C+D in a listed race in good fashion in May and can be excused for not being able to defy a high mark in a handicap at Royal Ascot. Carries a 3lbs penalty for that success but is suited by this venue and quick ground and gets weight from his elders.

Aalto 4/1

Loves this venue and goes well in this race, winning this contest in 2024 and coming 2nd narrowly at a big price last year. Returned to form with a good 2nd over C+D last time out and is well treated for this race off a mark of 87 for the third year running.

Castle Stuart 16/1

Ran well over C+D to be 2nd last time out and retains a mark of 88 for that effort, despite the form working out well and yielding a subsequent heritage handicap winner in 3rd. Nicely treated and carrying a feather weight, can go well again.

Abraham Lincoln 10/11

Made a pleasing debut to win over 6 furlongs at the Curragh and could have that form boosted earlier on the card by Haffner. Shapes like this step up to 7 furlongs will draw out some improvement. The Aidan O’Brien stable won this race in 2023 and look to saddle another strong looking runner.

Satono Reve 9/2

Venetian Sun might just find the ground and field a bit lively for her and the standard in the field is set by Japanese raider Satono Reve. A touch unlucky at Royal Ascot being beaten by a nose, that effort came off a short break and he should be fully revved up to go one better now.

Tabletalk 2/1

Mount Atlas has yet to prove his stamina over this trip and finished behind Tabletalk over C+D last month. The two line up under the same conditions as for their 2nd and 3rd last time out and Tabletalk should confirm the form.
