Today we are taking a look back into the archives, where Caravaggio landed the Group One Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh in 2016 and many say it was the making of the great sprinter.
one of the best sprinters to come out of the Ballydoyle yard of recent times, the son of Scat Daddy landed all of his first six events including the Phoenix Stakes, Group Two Coventry Stakes, Lacken Stakes and Commonwealth Cup.
The final win of his career came at the Curragh over 5f when taking the Group Two Flying Five Stakes and overall throughout his career he was unbeaten at the Irish track in all three of his runs.
Enjoy!
