After sending just one horse on the 720 mile round trip up to Ayr on Sunday and it winning at 6/1 in rather impressive fashion, they're sending the Siyouni colt MAKASHI up to Ripon as he looks to break his maiden at the fifth time of asking.
By in no uncertain terms disappointing on his first two starts, he was half a length behind 2/5 shot Bashosh when sent off at odds of 100/1 at Donny at the start of last month but he rediscovered his old poor form next time out when finishing seventh of nine on handicap debut at Haydock.
His mark has been slightly eased and with the yard having a 30% win rate and a 50% place rate at the course, you'd at the very least expect this horse to be knocking on the door of the top three come the finish line.
