A smart 2 year old last season, Vadeni struck at listed level over a mile before finding group 2 level out of his reach. Despite being sent off the 2/5 favourite for a race over 9 furlongs he was pretty easily beaten by El Bodegon.
The son of Churchill came back to racing in April of this year for his classic campaign but shaped like he needed his first outing and was well held in 5th at group 3 level behind an impressive Welwal.
Last seen bouncing back to form over 9 furlongs, he handily took a group 3 event to beat Machete. It only took hands and heels to push him clear of the field and he certainly looks like the extra furlong here holds no fears.
