The first selection of the day from us at Navan comes in the Listed Committed Stakes over 5 1/2 furlongs and the Aidan O'Brien trained Lippizaner has a big chance.

The three year old colt was superb at the back end of last season, Getting off the mark at the fourth time of asking at Navan.

After that he went up in trip for the Group One Middle Park Stakes and finished sixth of eight runners, running a fair race behind some superstar sprinters.

Heading back to Ireland he was second in a Group Three at the Curragh and he then backed that up at Doncaster in a Listed event on heavy ground.

That run set him up for a crack at the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf at Keeneland and he was a superb fourth in the Group Two event behind Golden Pal.

That sets the form standard in this race.

The Listed Salsabil Stakes over 1m2f comes next for the fillies' and Willow for Aidan O'Brien looks a very nice daughter of American Pharoah.

The filly has been seen three times during her career, making her debut at The Curragh over seven furlongs and looking like needing the run.

The three year old then went in a Maiden and finished a better third before finally getting off the mark when last seen in October over a mile at Leopardstown.

The filly is said to be working brilliantly at home and the step up to 1m2f is sure to suit.

Oaks on the agenda.

The final selection of the day is the Group Three 1m6f Vintage Crop Stakes and Santiago at the top of the market will be tough to beat if on song.

The four year old son of Derby winner Authorized really burst onto the racing scene last year having landed both his contests in fine style starting with a dominating display in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot.

He then dropped back two furlongs to contest the Irish Derby at the Curragh last Saturday and he managed to stay the trip the best of the pack just fending off stablemate Tiger Moth to take the Classic honours.

After landing his first Group One event, Santiago was tried at two miles for the first time in his career next time out at Goodwood and was outclassed by Stradivarius.

He was last seen in the Group One St Leger at Doncaster finishing fourth behind the likes of Galileo Chrome, Berkshire Rocco and Pyledriver and that sets the form standard back down in class.
