Trainer To Follow - Kevin Ryan

The Northern based trained Kevin Ryan has a great record with his horses at the Yorkshire tracks, especially at York and he sends a strong team on the first day of the Dante meeting.

In the opening race of the day he fields Forza Orta who heads into the event off the back of a nice win at Hamilton last time out.

In the six furlong handicap he holds a leading hand with Bergerac and also Bielsa is no stranger of winning these sorts of events.

Emaraaty Ana goes for the yard in the Group Two Clipper Logistic Stakes and if getting back to his Group One form has to be taken seriously.

Other nice chances for Ryan include Fast And Loose, The Cookstown Cafu and Thunder Moor.

Jockey To Follow - David Egan

David Egan has a nice book of rides of the first day of the Dante meeting and might be a more left field suggestion of a jockey to follow across the day with some nice priced runners.

In the opener he rides the outsider Graphite who needs to bounce back to form after two tough runs, but then in the 6f event has a leading chance with Woven who is in stellar form.

Egan gets the ride on the Dragon Symbol in the Clipper Logistic Stakes who has some serious sprint form at the top level.

The youngster rides another outsider in the penultimate event of the afternoon for Eric Alston, which is his final ride of the day.
