Who To Follow At York On Day Two

Trainer To Follow - Richard Hannon

Day Two sees another tricky day of racing but one man who has plenty of chances and is our trainer to follow tomorrow is Richard Hannon.

In the second race of the day the trainer has two chances in the Premier Yearling Stakes with second favourite Mums Tipple who has only had one start and got off the mark nicely on debut.

In that race he also has Cheat who is at a bigger rice but still holds plenty of ability and looks a very progressive juvenile for the yard.

Qaysar is one of his big chances of the day in our opinion with the horse running in the Clipper Logistics Stakes and the four year has been in superb form this month with two clearcut wins and with the yard in form and the horse being a big improver he can not be overlooked.

Hannon has some nice runners and is worth keeping an eye out for his runners tomorrow.

Jockey To Follow - James Doyle

James Doyle is the jockey to keep on an eye on come Thursday with the rider already picking up a nice victory n the first day and will be looking to add to that on day two.

He has a nice book of rides with the first being Wejdan for William Haggas who won nicely on debut at Newbury earlier this month and looks a potential improver with big each way claims.

He rides St Ives for the same trainer in the next race and this horse is at a big price but the yard won this race in 2013,2014 and 2015 and will be looking to do the same on Thursday.

Another horse Doyle rides we like the look of is Frankellina in the Listed Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes, this filly is dropping back in grade and is due to give a big run with her best performance this season coming at York.

Horse To Follow - Liberty Beach

Our Nap on the second day of the York Ebor meeting and horse to follow tomorrow is Liberty Beach who runs in the first race of the day and this John Quinn trained juvenile looks a smart filly.

The two year old has been superb over five furlongs this season winning four of her five runs including a superb win last time out at Goodwood in the Molecomb Listed Stakes.

She steps up to six furlongs today for the first time in her career and she looks as if the extra furlong will bring even more out of her and she is the one to beat on form alone.
