The feature race of the afternoon is the Grade Two Kingmaker Novices' Chase over two miles and Edwardstone for Alan King looks the bet.

The gelding has been exceptional since going over fences this term, having a slight hiccup on debut when being bought down at Warwick when travelling well, but next time out put things right over the same C&D when taking a decent two mile Novices' Chase.

Stepped up to Grade One company next time out he went on to improve once more to land the Henry VIII Novices' Chase at Sandown, seeing off his closes rivals War Lord and Third Time Lucki by 16 lengths.

With the second and third since franking that form line, Edwardstone went to Kempton and also boosted it by making it a hat-trick of wins when landing the Grade Two Wayward Lad Novices' Chase.

Now he takes on Third Time Luck for a second time and although they will be a lot closer together come the finish.

Trainer To Follow - Dan Skelton

Dan Skelton sends a good team of runners to one of his local tracks on Saturday, starting in the first race with Camdonian who gets weight off the field.

He has the outsider in the Listed Mares' Hurdle with Get A Tonic on ratings needing a lot to find but is still a nice horse in his own right.

One of his big chances of the day comes in the Grade Two Kingmaker Novices' Chase where he is looking for his Arkle hope Third Time Lucki to reverse the form with Edwardstone.

In the two mile Handicap Hurdle he has a live chance with Horizon D'Ainay and then in the Handicap Chase he is looking to land the event with the top weighted Amoola Gold.

To finish the day off he has the two favourites in the last two races with Colonel Manderson and Riskintheground looking to dominate.

Skelton heads into the meeting with a 24% strike rate over the last two weeks, where he has managed to land 10 winners from 41 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Aidan Coleman

Leading rider Aidan Coleman could have a special day at the Warwickshire track on Saturday with a handful of decent rides spread out through the card.

In the first race of the day he sits on Doctor Ken who is looking to bounce back to the form of his Ascot win and then in the next event he has a live chance with Marie's Rock, who is also on a bit of a revival mission.

Another big chance for the rider comes on Falco Blitz who last time out was a good winner at Kempton and if backing that run up won't be far away.

Coleman heads into the meeting on Saturday running at a strike rate of 29%, managing to land six winners from 21 runners over the last two weeks.
