Kodi Bear Light 14/1

Scored in a nursery at Goodwood over 7 furlongs last time out in what looks decent form, the 3rd coming out to come 2nd in a Group Contest since. Looks to have been quite fairly treated with just a 2lbs rise in the weights and is bred to cope with the cut in the ground. Still handicapped to get competitive and might just see this out better than some of her rivals.

Dorigo 25/1

Looks a massive price for this considering he’s been in decent form in big meetings, coming 2nd in a strong maiden at Goodwood and 4th in a listed race at York. Didn’t look to handle to drop to 5 furlongs last time out, but steps back up in trip now and does handle some juice underfoot. Represents the Kevin Ryan yard who’ve won this race three times as their sole entry. Can outrun what looks a huge price tag.

Bourbon Blues 7/1

After dropping to a more workable looking handicap mark of late, his form has taken an upward curve, hitting the frame in two good handicap contests at major meetings. Has been nudged up 1lbs in the weights for his recent 3rd at York, but still looks well enough treated to play a hand here. Handles cut underfoot and is in red hot form, won’t be far away again.

Consent 6/1

Narrowly came 2nd in this race last year before winning a Group one and has hinted she’s starting to come to form with a good 4th at Goodwood on ground that was likely a little quick for her. She gets back on rain softened ground now and gets the application of first time cheekpieces. Brings some top form to the contest and gets conditions to suit

Eabha 14/1

A little more exposed than her rivals but has been progressing nicely and took another step forward when last seen just 11 days ago coming 2nd in a group race at Goodwood. She handled soft ground well and was doing her best work late on over 7 furlongs, posting the fastest 3 furlongs in the field. Should handle this step up to a mile and can put in another good effort if able to back up off a short break.
