Who To Follow At Vichy On Wednesday

Horse To Follow - Bergamasque

The horse we believe will pay to follow is the four year old filly Bergamasque who goes in the final contest of the day over 1 mile 2 furlongs.

Pierre-Charles Boudot takes the ride which is always a bonus but the filly also poses plenty of ability having only raced twice during her career and not coming outside of the top two on both occasions.

She started her racing life at Saint-Cloud in tough muddy conditions and finished a bold second on debut, she then go better ground and a step up in trip which saw her get off the mark.

Bergamasque has shown she can be affective between 1 mile 2f to 1 mile 4f and with conditions to suit she should go well.

Trainer To Follow - Francis-Henri Graffard

Francis-Henri Graffard is a trainer in some serious form over in France and he looks to have some really nice runners at Vichy on Wednesday.

Having landed seven winners from 22 runners in the last two weeks he is now running at a strike rate of 31.82% which is good going.

Graffard loves bringing his runners to Vichy with him holding a strike rate of 57.14% with just seven runners in the last 12 months and having four winners and two places in that time.

Jockey To Follow - Pierre-Charles Boudot

One of the best riders currently on the racing scene in France is the young rider Pierre-Charles Boudot who has landed 23 winners from 78 runners since French racing has been back.

Overall, the jockey is currently running at just under 30% as a strike rate which he has been maintaining by grabbing winners at nearly every track in France across the days.

Vichy is a track he has performed well at over the last 12 months, only having 14 rides and gaining two winners and five places with a strike rate of 15%.
