The penultimate selection of the afternoon is the Group Two King Edward VII Stakes and although only six go to post it looks a hot betting heat and we fancy Ottoman Fleet.

The three year old son of Sea The Stars was bought for 450,000gns as a yearling and on debut showed he had serious ability finishing a close second behind smart stablemate Natural World with the talented Lionel back in third.

Dropped down a furlong to 1m2f for his second start he saw off the smart Zain Sarinda for Tom Clover having fluffed the start coming out the stalls he showed bundles of ability to get up close home.

He will only improve from that run and although stepping up in class and trip, both will suit him at this stage of his career and he could be slightly underestimated in the market behind Aidan O’Brien’s colt.

Trainer To Follow - Richard Hannon

Richard Hannon has a nice few runners on the fourth day of Royal Ascot 2022 and that makes him the handler to follow across the afternoon.

In the opener he fields Powerdress who was a nice winner on debut back in April and has since been saved for this event and that could mean something.

Ehraz goes for Hannon in the Commonwealth Cup with the colt being 33/1 at one stage and is now as short as 13/2 to land the Group One.

Other nice runners for the trainer across the day include Sir Rumi in the Duke Of Edinburgh and the favourite Heredia in the Sandringham Stakes.

Jockey To Follow - Frankie Dettori

The maestro Frankie Dettori hasn't had the best week so far at Royal Ascot but Friday looks to be his best day for winners with a handful of nice rides.

In the opening race of the day he sits on Fully Wet for John & Thady Gosden who was a winner on debut at Goodwood in good style and she should kick on again.

Frankie then sits on the favourite Trawlerman in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes with the Godolphin owned gelding stepping back upto 1m4f.

The Italian's best ride of the afternoon comes on the unbeaten Inspiral who is looking to land the second Group One of her career in the Coronation Stakes.

Dettori then sits on the Juddmonte owned Crenelle in the Sandringham Stakes who is certainly not without a chance at third favourite.
