An ultra consistent animal who looks one of the main dangers in this race and arrives here off the back of a very good second with the third that day boosting the form. Also looks well handicapped to go close here.
Arctic Thunder 10/1
Despite finishing sixth last time out he won two in a row prior to that and can certainly go well here back where his last victory came. Seems pretty ground versatile and his yard are in decent form of late.
First Law 10/3
Godolphin have two in this and Will Buick chooses to ride this horse who remains unbeaten after two career starts. He's a smart prospect who's won well on both occasions and there's no reason why he won't continue to improve here.
Fandom 20/1
Can ignore last time outs run as this drop back to 5 furlongs will suit more and looks to be well overpriced in this. Has also been dropped a lb for that effort which makes him a player with last winning rider Sean Levey back in the saddle.
Sun Goddess 13/8
Is a very, very talented horse who's won 5/7 races which included a monster performance last time out in a Group One. Running at Newmarket for the first time should be on issue and that makes her the one they all have to beat.
Inner City Blues 7/4
Charlie Appleby is going for a third consecutive win in this race and Inner City Blues boasts strong claims to go and do the business here. Despite winning 2/2 he still looks like there is plenty of improvement to come so is certainly the right favourite in this.
Harmonics 14/1
A very open race but this horse seems to tick a few boxes and the straight course of Newmarket should also play into his hands. Has had experience of running well in a Group Three last time out so brings a bit of class to this handicap.
