Humidity 3/1

Returns from a long lay off here for the Baldings but had some strong looking juvenile form last season including a good 2nd behind Bow Echo in the Royal Lodge Stakes. Brings some strong form to the table for his first start as a 3 year old and gets weight from his rivals. Interesting if ready to roll first time up.

Dubai Champion 13/2

Ran well on soft ground to be 2nd to Mussab who franked the form at Newmarket yesterday. Steps back up in trip here but shaped well in his only run over this trip before and might just handle the slow underfoot conditions better than some of his rivals. Form looks rock solid if seeing out this extra furlong.

Drumbeat 10/11

It’s hard to get away from the warm looking favourite here in Drumbeat for last year’s winning trainer, Aidan O’Brien. Did his best work late on last time out in a group race over a mile and should relish this outright stamina test over 10 furlongs.

Say What You See 14/1

In good consistent form this season and has put in good efforts at this venue to win and be 3rd in a valuable handicap. Handles soft ground and stays further than this 10.5 furlongs. Should keep rolling when other cry enough and is handicapped to be involved.

Rock Montreal 13/8

Has looked green on both his outings so far and was a touch unlucky to be out-sprinted and narrowly beaten in a listed contest last time out. Shaped like a step up in trip would suit and looks to possess a better turn of foot than his main market rival.

Desert Castle 4/5

Put in a lethal performance to win the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster last time out, coasting past his rivals in impressive fashion. Charlie Appleby has won three of the last seven renewals of the race and he might just have more speed than Irish raider Darkness Falls. Still progressing and can take another step forward to claim this Group One.

Fine Interview 9/1

At his best on slow ground and has been in good form this campaign, winning twice at Doncaster with cut in the ground. Is on a high looking handicap mark of 98 but a 3lbs claimer in the saddle helps ease his carry weight and the rain will be in his favour. Has pace drawn nearby to drag him into the race.

Mountain Road 11/1

Improved for a step back up to staying trips and went close at York last time out over 2 miles, staying on well to the line off a 4lbs lower mark. Shapes like this outright stamina test is what he needs now and arrives in good from off a short break. Stays well off a strong pace and should get a good lead from in front.
