Having already looked back at Enable's first win in the Arc at Chantilly, today we are going back to her second victory in the prestigious race, this time seeing her win at Longchamp.
Compared to the season before, Enable had very little preparation for the Group One having suffered a small training set back in the season.
However, John Gosden eventually got her fit enough to run and she went to Kempton in the Group Three September Stakes to blow away the cobwebs.
She still managed to win the race beating Prince Of Wales's winner Crystal Ocean by over five lengths and Gosden revealed after the race she was only 80% fit.
Having only one run on the all weather she headed to France and like ever she put up a glorious staying performance to land her second consecutive Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
This year's race was much closer with James Doyle and Sea Of Class powering home late in the day to narrowly just be beaten by the Queen Of Racing, but it took a photo-finish to split them.
