Solo

Today we are taking a look back at the 2020 renewal of the Grade Two Adonis Juvenile Hurdle where the exciting French exploit Solo for Paul Nicholls bounded onto the scene.

Having performed well on both his hurdles starts in France he was bought by Johnny de la Hey and given to Nicholls and like he has in the past, the 12 time champion trainer started him off in the Adonis.]

Very much an unknown, Solo went on to become the Triumph Hurdle favourite having bolted up by 13 lengths, showing bundles of ability.

Since then he has not quite gone on to be the horse the yard and owner thought they had over both hurdles and fences, but today we are looking back on the best performance he has ever come up with.

Enjoy!
