Three Standout Performances - 04/12/2018

13:50 - Glassy Waters

Glassy Waters continues to progress for trainer Saeed Bin Suroor and followed up his Kempton win latest, by landing the betyourway At Betway Handicap.

Unexposed and plenty to like about this 4yo, Hayley Turner had to battle her mount's awkward head carriage, but got the job done, and in the end with plenty in hand.

Always prominent, he led over 1f out, and ran on well to win comfortably.

14:20 - Corinthia Knight

After a frustrating campaign, Corinthia Knight finally got back into the winner's enclosure, when speeding away from his rivals in the Lingfield feature - the Betway Heed Your Hunch Handicap.

He has always had a fine record on the AW, including a win on AW Finals Day, and the drop to five certainly got the best out of him.

Tackled a tough draw by tucking in and chasing the leaders early on. He began to make effort over 1f out, before leading inside final furlong, and ran on well.

14:00 - Crosswell

An expertly timed ride from Harry Skelton got Crosspark home in front, in the toals.com Casino Handicap Hurdle at Southwell.

This success followed up his romp in a chase last month, with many before the race asking questions of Caroline Bailey switching her 8yo back over hurdles.

They were certainly answered, with Crosspark held up in rear early on by his jockey. He began to make headway 3 out, was ridden to lead before last, and held on towards finish. Job done.
