The first horse to keep an eye on is the Teona for Roger Varian, who heads the betting for the Group Three Musidora Stakes on Wednesday and the filly looks to have bundles of potential.

The daughter of Sea The Stars has been seen twice to date, finishing second on debut over a mile at Newcastle in October and when stepped up in trip a month later got off the mark in taking style.

The step up to 1m2f was the making of this horse as she dominated a decent field by nine lengths and now making her turf debut, she could well and truly stake her claim for the Oaks next month.

Big potential and if winning this will be much shorter than 5/1 for the third Classic of the season

High Definition is the big potential eye-catcher in the feature Group Two Dante Stakes on Thursday, with the Ballydoyle Derby hopeful looking to stamp his authority on the division.

This three year old has only been seen twice to date, but was one of the most remembered winners for O'Brien on his debut last season, when landing a maiden event over a mile at The Curragh.

High Definition was then sent into the Group Two Beresford Stakes, a race O'Brien has won 11 of the last 12 years with the likes of Capri, Japan and Saxon Warrior.

The colt was sent off as the favourite for the event and when going for home looked in big trouble being last of the pack, but he put in a superb final few furlongs to get up near the finish

It showed he was a Derby horse in the making getting better the further he went and having been pulled out of his return at Lingfield due to bad bloods, the Dante looks one of his last chances to run before the big one at Epsom.

If going on to perform well on his seasonal debut he will be shorter than 7/1 for the Derby, with that price already larger than the 4/1 he had been at the start of the season.

Finally, in the Yorkshire Cup on Friday Sir Ron Priestley for Mark Johnston is just a superb horse to own and he will be looking to extend his staying credentials, with eyes on the Ascot Gold Cup later in the year.

The five year old who has won seven of his last nine starts with his two only blemishes on his record coming in the 2019 St Leger and King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The son of Australia in 2019 was one of the most progressive horses in training Landing a hat-trick of races before heading to Doncaster for the Group One St Leger and finishing a narrow second to superstar Logician.

Having suffered an injury setback he was out for a long period of time and was not seen as a four year old, but has returned this term in the same winning form.

This season he has been seen twice to date, winning on seasonal debut at Nottingham over 1m6f when beating Ocean Road in a Listed event and he backed that up again last time out over 1m4f in the Group Two Jockey Club Stakes.

He seems to be getting better with age and heading into the Yorkshire Cup in some superb form, he looks very hard to look past.
