The first horse to put in your trackers ahead of the weekend comes in the Listed Ascendant Stakes at Haydock with the £2.1 million purchase Hafit stepping up into black type company.

The exciting son of Dubawi cost a fortune being out of a Galileo mare and at the first time of asking started to pay back his fee when winning a very good maiden at Newmarket in August.

The form of that race looks extremely smart with the second and third since winning next time out and they both look like special horses in the making.

Hafit steps into Listed company looking to make a bold show and he has to be feared in a big way.

Big future.

Ascot on Saturday starts off with a Novice Stakes over seven furlongs and we believe the favourite Alotaibi could take some beating under a penalty.

The John & Thady Gosden trained runner made a superb start to life on a racecourse when taking a good maiden at Newbury.

This race looks a big chance to get two wins on the board with many horses making their debuts and one of the other horses that has already ran was a long way behind Alotaibi on debut.

Should be tough to beat.

The final runner for the tracker this weekend comes in the Novice Stakes at Ascot over a mile with Bouquet for John & Thady Gosden looking like a big potential improver.

The two year old filly made a very encouraging debut in July at Newmarket over 7f when a close third behind smart runners Ardbraccan and Calm Skies.

The fourth that day Wilderness Girl as also no mug winning next time out and the overall form of the race looks decent.

She will come on for that experience in a big way as Gosden newcomers mostly do and she looks one to keep onside.
