The exciting juvenile Method for trainer Martyn Meade is planning to head straight to next month’s Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket where he is looking to extend his unbeaten run to three races.
The son of Mehmas has made a really exciting start to life on a racecourse winning in good fashion at Doncaster on debut and then backing that up last time out at Newbury in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes.
Connections hold him in very high regard and it is nice to see Martyn Meade have another potential superstar after having multiple Group One winner Advertise for the last few years.
His owners, after his Listed win decided to swerve both the Group One Prix Morny and the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood and now he is being lined up for a crack at the Middle Park Stakes over six furlongs at Newmarket on September 26th.
🏇🏻 Mehmas colt METHOD remains unbeaten in two career starts, looking a smart 2-y-o for Martyn Meade!

(Credit ATR) Meade said: “I’m not in any great rush to run him, to be honest. We have thought about going to France, but the ground was pretty cut up the last time we were there, so maybe we won’t go.
“At the moment I’m thinking we might just go straight to the Middle Park. Obviously it will be a step up in class, but when you look at his form and the sectionals and everything, I think he’s entitled to go there.
“We’ll look towards the Middle Park and hopefully he’ll go on to have a bright three-year-old career afterwards.”
Method looks to be a Typcial six furlong horse that could step up to a mile as a three year old and is already being priced up at 33/1 for the 2000 Guineas next season.
