An interesting move as trainer Adrian McGuinness looks to quickly turn out one of his runners, a winner on Friday, to bid for a second win just four days later at Listowel.
McGuiness holds a respectable 14% strike rate with his last time out winners running again within 7 days, and his entrant today, who fits that profile, again looks to hold strong claims for the win.
The horse in question is Skontonovski, a winner at Dundalk over 8f last time out.
Skontonoski is now on a hat-trick bid having won at Cork over 7f just 9 days prior and he won impressively last time out, running on at the line and shaping as though he still had plenty in the locker.
He has a slight inconvenience to deal with today in terms of his draw in stall 14, however the gameness of his last time out win has signalled there's plenty more to come and he may just deliver again here.
Trainer Adrian McGuinness is also in great form of late with a 21% strike rate across the last 14 days.
