One Horse, One Jockey And One Trainer To Follow On Day Four

Horse - Fujaira Prince

The horse on day four of Royal Ascot that we think is worth watching out for Fujaira Prince for trainer Roger Varian and we think this lightly-raced five-year-old has to be seriously considered in the Duke Of Edinburgh Handicap Stakes.

This gelding has only raced five times which is not a lot for a five year old which makes him fresher than most the exposed horses in this field.

The first is the highly reliable Fujaira Prince for Roger Varian who has only raced five times in his career but has not finished outside the top two in any of them, winning three races.

Last time he was very unlucky in a 18-runner handicap at York being pipped in a photo-finish but if handling the conditions looks a smart option at a decent price.

Jockey - Andrea Atzeni

With that in mind we think the jockey to follow on day four is the Italian rider Andrea Atzeni who has been unlucky so far during this festival but we believe that the penultimate day will be his best.

He has a few nice rides that believe will see him get off the mark for the five day festival this year and in the Sandringham Handicap he rides Invitational.

She has been very progressive on the all weather this season which has also seen her form being franked which makes her dangerous if taking to the Ascot turf.

In the last he holds a strong chance on our horse to follow Fujaira Prince who looks to be the pick of the bunch in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes.

He loves the ground, big field and stepping up in trip should bring more out of him and it could round the day of nicely for him and us.

Trainer - Roger Varian

Going along with our trend on day four we fancy Roger Varian to have a sparkling day after not quite getting the rub of the green in many of the races so far.

He starts the day with a good selection in the in the Group 3 Albany Stakes with Daahyeh and this two year old filly looks to be a serious contender in this contest after landing a decent contest on her debut and has had that form franked on Wednesday.

She went on to beat Raffle Prize who scored at Royal Ascot in the Queen Mary this year, that win came on good ground and may not want anymore rain but still looks one to watch.

As mentioned before he also has Invitational and Fujaira Prince and we three strong runners he has to be a trainer to keep an eye on
