One horse, jockey and trainer to Follow at Sha Tin On Sunday

Horse To Follow - Exultant

Exultant is the middle distance star in Hong Kong having been bred in Ireland and shipped over to Asia back in 2017, the gelding has gone on to be overly successful earning close to HK$67.6 million for his owners.

The six year old has raced 28 times during his career with three races in Ireland, one at Ascot and the rest coming all at Sha Tin and during his illustrious career he has only finished outside of the placings on six occasions .

The son of Teofilo has landed the majority of the big middle distance races at Sha Tin including the Hong Kong Vase (2018), Hong Kong Gold Cup (2019), Champions & Chater Cup (2019) and QEII Cup (2020).

He is looking to land back to back wins in the Champions & Chater Cup and with only six other horses in the race and none of them with the credentials Exultant holds, it looks very hard to see what will beat him.

Trainer To Follow - Douglas Whyte

Douglas Whyte on Sunday at Sha Tin sends over nine runners and they all look to have some decent chances and we believe he could land some nice priced winners across the day.

Having recently landed doubles and trebles across the cards at Sha Tin and Happy Valley over the last few weeks he is a trainer in decent form.

At Sha Tin he poses a modest record of a 12% strike rate and we believe he can add to that on the weekend.

He also links up jockeys Joao Moreira, Chad Schofield and Jerry Chau who he has decent combination records with.

Jockey To Follow - Joao Moreira

It may look an obvious shout but in Hong Kong you either side with Moreira or Zac Purton with the two jockeys going head to head for the riders title.

On Sunday we believe that the Brazilian rider can take the lead in the standings and land some nice winners with his rides across the card.

Moreira has a superb record at the Hong Kong track posing a 23.41% and overall earnings of $2,830,286 which is astonishing and on Sunday has some decent rides.
