This 3 year old Sea The Stars filly won a 1m maiden at Nottingham and a 1m2f Listed race beating current second favourite, Eternal Pearl at Goodwood.

She then went on to finish second in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot over 1m4f on good to firm ground to subsequent Irish Oaks winner Magical Lagoon. The filly then went overseas and ran in a Group 2 at Deauville finishing fourth going off joint favourite that day.

She dug deep on that occasion finishing only a neck behind Agave in third. A return to this trip should be a plus for her and she is also tongue tied for the first time.

Should be bouncing back in this contest, sets a high standard.

Has been a fairly consistent performer for trainer Hugo Palmer. A Listed win came in France at Saint-Cloud over this trip on ground that could have been somewhat of a concern last September.

This filly showed some great form when fifth of 16 in a handicap at Royal Ascot on what was her reappearance. She was very big odds that day (40/1) but did not back that run up as she looked poor in an Irish Group 3 in July finishing last of 12.

Would have ran at the York Ebor meeting, but was declared a non-runner as ground was a major concern. He has a chance of placing if running to her best over this distance again.

An each way chance.

An improving daughter of Frankel as she has won her last three races and will be going for another victory here. A short-priced favourite over the trip of 1m4f on last four starts, including a Group 3 win at Deauville last time out.

This was on good to soft ground so shows she is capable of performing on a variety of different conditions.

She had plenty in the tank when she was put under a little bit of pressure on the last two occasions, and is finding her form in some style at the moment.

Could be capable of finding even more this time round and is one to note. Top contender.

Roger Varian’s ‘less fancied’ runner in this as she is a big price here. Was well beaten in a Listed race on her reappearance, but has shown signs of steady progression since.

Has been competitive in handicaps where her best form has been from the front in two three runner fields.

Finishing second then first respectfully last time out, she will have to put in a career best here to pose any threat to her rivals. Has it up against her.

Showed signs of early progression after a couple of decent placed efforts by winning two from two at this course. The second win came in a five-runner handicap on the July course here in July on good to firm ground.

She was then a creditable fifth of 11 rivals in a Listed race at York five weeks ago and needs to get back on track here.

Will be tough but can resume some sort of improvement, and she is one of two runners for Roger Varian in this year’s affair of the Group Three Princess Royal Dubai Stakes.

Possibilities.

Karl Burke’s filly has won twice this year with victories coming at Ripon and Newcastle in June. The latter was in fact a Group 3 so she is more than respected in this field of opposition.

Was a good second in a Listed race at York, but she is yet to win over 1m4f so that could be the concern here.

She is in decent form so certainly worth another go at this trip, but she has to start becoming less green in races as she is a bit of a free going sort.

Respected nonetheless.

This 3 year old daughter of Dubawi had a cracking start to her career, winning two of her first three starts. She was victorious in a maiden at Newcastle over 1m2f but has also won over 1m4f too at Kempton.

Has been a strong favourite on that occasion and on her penultimate start, but needs to show further improvement here as she is stepping up massively in class.

A useful filly but this looks very hard for her, hard to fancy on this occasion.

Made a very encouraging debut when beaten by current favourite in this race, Sea Silk Road over 1m at Nottingham in May.

This filly was certainly one for the tracker, as next time out she won cosily at Chelmsford under a superb Frankie Dettori ride. Was disappointing last time out, but that was a massive step up in class.

Needs to settle better and find huge improvement over what will be a longer trip she is not used to. This trainer combo of John & Thady Gosden use first-time headgear for her.

Very unlikely winner in what is Group 3 company. May be one to keep an eye on in future runs.
