13:50 - Summer Romance 1/1

The first race of the day from Ascot comes in the Group 3 Margaret Keeneland Stakes over six furlongs and in this interesting contest we have gone for Summer Romance.

This special juvenile out of Kingman is still unbeaten after winning both her starts to date, the first came at Yarmouth on soft ground in an ordinary event.

Her next run was the one that put her on the map landing the Listed Empress Fillies Stakes in good style on quicker ground showing how versatile she is.

One to beat.

14:25 - Wings Of Time 6/1

The Class 2 Porshce Handicap looks a very competitive betting market with many of the runners being of a similar level but we have sided with Wings Of Time.

This Godolphin owned three year old looks like a useful gelding for Charlie Appleby really stepping up this season and impressing in some strong events.

He started his season off at Wolverhampton with an easy win in a Class 5, he backed that up with a good second at Newmarket but last time he looked the real deal scoring on the July Course and this race looks very much in his favour.

15:00 - Land Of Legends 16/1

The International Stakes sees a huge field go to post and with that comes big prices and we have gone for Land Of Legend in the seven furlong event.

This Saeed bin Suroor trained three year old is one of the most unexposed horses in the field only racing four times in his career but recently has looked dangerous.

Two starts ago he got off the mark for the first time on the all weather at Kempton and he backed that up with another at Newmarket and if coming on for that run looks to have a chance in this one.

15:40 - Enable

The big race of the day and arguably the biggest flat race of the year so far is the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and there is only one horse we could go with.

The super-mare Enable has been one of the best middle distance horses for the past three years, now having won 10 straight races in a row.

After her heroics in the Arc and Breeders Cup Turf last year, she came back for what looks her last season in great style winning the Group 1 Coral Eclipse at Sandown.

She was said to only be "85-90%" fit that day so if she is fully tuned up Saturday she could be electrifying and should not be beat.

16:15 - Oh Purple Reign

A Listed event is next on the card in the Pat Eddery Stakes over seven furlongs and the Richard Hannon trained Oh Purple Reign looks to be a big potential improver.

The juvenile has not been outside of the top two on all five of his runs going on to win his debut and latest run in good style and should handle the step up to Listed company.

This two year old holds a lot of potential for the Hannon yard and should take the confidence of his latest win into this contest.

17:20 - Kiefer

The final selection of the day at Ascot comes in the Plymouth Fruit Cup over 1 mile 4 furlongs and Kiefer for trainer Eve Johnson Houghton looks a sharp prospect.

This three year old colt has been in fine form this season with figures of 212 in his last three runs, getting better and better with each run, moving up the classes.

He holds a St Leger entry which makes him even more appealing as the yard must hold him in very high regard and this looks to be a perfect prep run to see how good he actually is.
