Who To Follow At The Curragh On Sunday - 26/06/22

Trainer To Follow - Aidan O'Brien

The Ballydoyle maestro Aidan O'Brien has some superb chances on the Sunday of the Irish Derby Festival which makes him the man to follow.

In the opener he fields two runners who both hold big chances with Auguste Rodin and Greenland both looking to break their ducks and have big chances to do so.

Statuette represents one of his best chances of the day in the Airlie Stud Stakes and then in the Group One Pretty Polly Stakes Concert Hall has a huge chance if the rain does not come.

O'Brien's final runner of the afternoon comes in the lucky last 1m2f Maiden and Cougar has been knocking on the door of late and could get off the mark.

Jockey To Follow - Willy Lee

Willy Lee holds some lovely rides on Sunday especially with a cracking ride in the feature Group One Pretty Polly Stakes.

With no ride in the first two events, he jumps on Verhoyen in the six furlong handicap with the course a distance winner looking to get back to winning ways.

In the Rockingham Handicap he sits on the favourite Erosandpsyche who was a bold third last time out and takes on the horses ahead of him that day now on better terms.

In the Group One Pretty Polly Stakes Lee sits on La Petite Coco who is looking to land a four timer and her first Group One over a course and distance she has already won at.

The jockey holds three more rides to end the card and all of them look to need the run but could cause a suprise.
