Wednesday Night Under The Lights At Dundalk

17:00 - Guinevere

The first runner of the evening from us at Dundalk comes in the 1 mile 4 furlong Maiden contest and we like the look of Guinevere for trainer R P Cody.

This three year old filly looks to be a very interesting character who has been running to a fair standard over hurdles but is now dropping back to the flat for her all weather debut.

She was also very useful on the flat and before going over hurdles she was a bright second of 16 runners which if handling the step up in trip with no obstacles will see her go well.

19:00 - Calling Time

The next fancy for us comes in the Apprentice race over a mile and Calling Time for Jessica Harrington poses some of the best form on offer.

The course and distance winner although not winning since January has ran well at the track especially on her last two efforts when narrow seconds in fairly big fields.

She stays at the same weight for her latest second which should give her massive appeal with the horse that beat her rocketing up the weights and giving her the edge now.

19:30 - Karbasann

The final selection from a very tricky meeting comes in another mile contest and we like the look of the Aga Khan owned Karbasann.

This bright youngster out of Siyouni is a half brother to a Group Three winner that has been moderately progressive on his first two runs to date.

He started at Dundalk in October finishing fifth of 14 runners at odds of 33/1 but got the hang of things better last time finishing a decent second and that suggested he would come on again.
