Thursday's Stats Accumulator With Paddy Power

The horse to kick start our Stats Accumulator today with Paddy Power comes from Southwell over the obstacles in the Class 4 novice handicap chase over 1 mile 7 1/2 furlongs. We have selected the David Bridgwater trained Cybalko who looks to be one to note today.

This five year old has shaped really well this season over hurdles and today is taking on the larger obstacles on his chase debut and also his handicap debut.

The David Bridgwater yard have had some success in this race before winning this last year also with a horse on there chase debut and we think lightning can strike twice today.

The second horse of the day comes over the jumps again and this time at Carlisle in the Class 3 handicap hurdle over 2 miles 1 furlong. Dan Skelton has had a brilliant season to date and he brings Maire Banrigh her today and we need this mare to place to keep the bet going.

This six year old hasn't been seen on the track since May this year where she made all in a maiden at Market Rasen and looked to be a really smart hurdler. Since then she has had a wind operation and this is her first run back today.

Dan Skelton during his entire training career has only ever sent nine horses to this racecourse and is posing a successful 22 percent strike rate. With this they have travelled more than 270 miles to run this horse today and they would not be doing that for no reason.

The penultimate horse in todays bet comes from the all weather meeting at Chelmsford in the Class 4 novice stakes over 1 mile and we have gone with Red October who is trained by Hugo Palmer.

This two year old has had a really positive start to his racing career finishing strong seconds in both his runs to date. Last time out at Kempton over the same distance he gave an encouraging performance behind a smart Richard Hannon horse and sets the form standard in this race.

Another positive for Red October today is his trainer won this race last year and with it not finishing out the top two in his racing career and we just needing it to place we think he has a lot going in his favour.

The final horse of our Stats Accumulator with Paddy Power is again at Chelmsford for the second time in the Class 5 Handicap over 7 furlongs and we have gone with the James Fanshawe trained Envisaging to finish in the top three places .

This four year old has been hit and miss this season and his for figures would scare most people off but if you look at the races closely especially his last one at Kempton, he finished eighth but only two lengths behind the winner.

His trainer is in red hot form at Chelmsford this year with the yard always producing winners at this track, but more so in the past few months where there last five runners have all gone on to place wit two of them winning.
