With this Townend is in sparkling form at the moment having a 40 percent strike rate over the last two weeks. This is also the case for the trainer who is running at a strike rate of 25 percent for the last 14 days.

The penultimate horse of the bet comes from Market Rasen over the jumps in the Class 1 Listed Mares Chase over 2 mile 7 1/2 furlongs which is the feature of the day at the track.

The final horse of the bet today comes from Chelmsford in the Class 5 novice contest over 1 mile and we have selected Nabbeyl for trainer Roger Varian to go on and place.

This two year old was only unleashed to racing last month and finished a positive fifth in a Doncaster maiden where he stayed on really well looking like he could need an extra furlong and he gets that today.

His trainer Roger Varian has been in great form over the last two weeks running at a strike rate of 26.47 percent for his horses. With this, jockey on board today David Egan has a brilliant record when riding for this owner posing a strike rate 31.25 percent with Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum.
