Three To Follow On Friday Night At Dundalk

18:15 - Time Tunnel

The first runner we like the look of at Dundalk on Friday evening comes in the Maiden over a mile and Time Tunnel for Dermot Weld looks like a filly going in the right direction.

The three year old has been raced frequently throughout the season over in Ireland to a fair standard with four seconds in her six contests.

She has not been able to break her maiden yet but this looks a perfect opportunity and the way she has ran in her last two events makes her the form horse to follow.

19:45 - Surrounding

The feature race of the night meeting in Ireland is the Listed Fillies Stakes over a mile and Michael Halford's Surrounding looks a class above the field.

This six year old mare has been very consistent in Listed and Group Three contests this season winning in both classes whilst also only finishing outside the places on two of her runs during her eight race year.

Last time out she stepped up to Group Two company where she was slightly outclassed but the drop back down to Listed company and already winning over course and distance should see her go well again.

20:45 - Nimitz

The final fancy of the day comes in the lucky last which is the 1 mile 4 furlong handicap and the Charles O'Brien trained Nimitz look sure to run a solid race.

This five year old gelding in his last three races over course and distance at Dundalk he has finished third in all of them staying on nicely.

He is only one pound higher than his run last time out and now going against what looks a slightly easier field of runners he should be able to capitalise.
