Super Sunday's Mixed Accumulator 03/03/19

14:10 Leopardstown - Tombstone to win

The first horse of the day comes from the Foxrock Cup Hurdle at Leopardstown where this 2 mile 2 furlong contest only see's four runners go to post and we have gone for Tombstone to land the race.

This Gordon Elliott trained nine year old should be a class above this field ,running in far better races all season and although not really competing in those contests, can benefit from the experience.

This season he has finished third behind Espoir D'Allen and Sharjah who are both going for the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and then last of the field in the Irish Champion Hurdle behind the super mare Apple's Jade.

Fulham v Chelsea Over 2.5 Goals In The Game

Chelsea travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday to face Fulham in what is a crucial game for both sides at the opposite ends of the league with the cottagers needing a win to help their relegation battle and Chelsea needing every point possible in the hope of a Champions League spot.

Chelsea are going through a really topsy turvy stage in their season winning a game and then losing the next one but, on Wednesday they beat a good Tottenham side to get back on track and when at full throttle are a free scoring team.

Fulham have lost all of their last four games and because of that sacked manager Claudio Ranieri. Scott Park has taken over and could give the club the lift they need.

Because of both sides being at difficult stages in there seasons and uncertainty around there performances we think there will be goals and over 2.5 in the game backs this up.

Liverpool To Win

The Merseyside derby on Sunday is a game that everyone in Liverpool is tuned into and especially this season with the reds going for the title.

Liverpool have lost just two games in their last 18 matches in all competitions and have got the better of their rivals, Everton, and beat them earlier on in the season with a last gasp Divock Origi goal.

Everton have had a hit and miss season but always leave everything on the pitch in their biggest game of the season but we believe the Premier League leaders will have too much for them to handle.

16:50 Leopardstown - The Church Gate to win

The next from Leopardstown and last horse of the mixed accumulator comes in the 2 mile 5 furlongs Handicap Chase and our selection is the Matthew Smith trained The Church Gate.

This eight year old gelding is in a fine bit of form finishing first on his last two outings and on Sunday is looking for his hat trick at a course he has previously won at last time out.

He is slightly stepping up in trip and has gone up four pounds for that win but he looks like a progressive type and has the addd bonus of a four pound claimer on board.
