Our first pick comes in the three year-old Quias Maiden Stakes and it comes in the shape of the Henri-Francois Devin trained PINWHEEL. An Exceed And Excel colt, he put in a hard fought performance on debut when a one length third at Saint-Cloud last month seemingly a little too keen and doing his best work earlier on in the race.
He showed on that occasion that he's got plenty of natural speed and the half a furlong drop down in trip will prove crucial here and he's hard to look past in a fairly wide open field
13:50 l'Allee des Acacias Maiden Stakes - Pamouschana (7/1)
We now look at the fillies maiden and our second and final pick in todays e/w double is the Edouard Monfort trained PAMOUSCHANA. Fairly disappointing as a two year-old last year finishing fifth of five on debut and then second, she put in her finest run to date last time out over a mile when beaten by a short head to a horse who's won next time out.
Previous to that she'd looked a little rusty on the a/w when finishing way off the pace but dropping down in trip with Barzalona booked to do the steering, she looks a terrific e/w price at 7s here.
