His entrant in the 13:35, Companionship, is impressively bred out of Galileo and is clearly one of the runners in this field expected to go onto bigger and better things, especially given she was thrown into a listed race on her seasonal re-appearance last time out at Newbury.

That race didn't go quite to plan over the 10f trip, however Companionship is expected to bounce back now dropped back down to her winning 8f distance upon quicker ground.

The race also represents a sharp decrease in class for the runner into class 4 company, whilst she also looks weighted to be very competitive in this field.

Delmona was a ready winner on debut for in-form trainer Tom Dascombe last time out.

The son of Dandy Man was held up in the rear over the 5f trip at Bath after a slow start out the gates, however picked up extremely well on the outside to lead just over a furlong out and despite looking green when drifting slightly, still came out a ready winner.

The increase in trip to 6f looks sure to suit, whilst she'll also appreciate the noted fast conditions on offer here once more.

The classy Logician looks sure to appreciate the drop back down into listed company here as he looks to restart what was once a high flying Group 1 winning career prior to a life threatening illness in 2019.

A 3rd placed finish behind the talented Al Aasy on his seasonal re-appearance looks like respectable form given what he has has gone on to achieve in Group 1 company next time out, whilst the 2nd placed horse that day, Thunderous, made a good go of things when finishing 4th in a Group 2 next time out.

Putting that form into context, listed company looks more than achievable, whilst the 12f trip looks optimum for Logician in this stage of his revival, especially upon faster ground.

Richard Hannon’s Mums Tipple is clearly a useful sort given how highly tried the gelding was in group company last season, although admittedly to little success.

A drop back into listed company and an increase in trip to 7f sparked a revival this season however and the son of Footstepsinthesand has been running consistently well of late in that sphere.

A 2 1/2 length beating of Lord Of The Lodge at Wolverhampton (listed, 7f) looks solid form given that Lord of the Lodge finished runner-up in a Group 3 in Ireland last time out.

Mum’s Tipple looks set to confirm those placing once more against his re-opposing rival here and should excel now stepping back into group company over his optimum 7f trip.

Godolphin filly Sayyida is impressively bred out of Dubawi and despite only having 3 runs to date, looks a solid bet ahead of her handicap debut.

Upped in trip to 12f for the first time last time out at the course (not July Course) on her seasonal re-appearance, Charlie Appleby’s entrant recorded an impressive 2 1/2 length victory over odds on favourite Mellow Magic when keeping on strongly in the final furlong.

Up one grade in class for today’s affair, Sayyida looks well weighted in this contest and is more than entitled to strip fitter and sharper for her comeback run.

She looks a progressive type on paper and is sure to improve once more here with conditions to suit.

William Jarvis’ yard are in fair form currently with his runners racing to a good standard of late.

Wimpole Hall won here at the course over the 10f distance this time last year and shaped well when making headway from the rear last time out on his seasonal re-appearance run at Chelmsford.

He’s entitled to come on for that run and should strip fitter for the affair whilst now sitting 1lb below his last winning mark with conditions to suit in the race.
