The first selection of the day from Navan comes in the 5 1/2f Fillies' Maiden and Agartha for Joseph O'Brien looks to have a huge chance.

The daughter of Caravaggio has been seen once to date and she finished a good third of eight runners over 6f at The Curragh.

That came in similar conditions to what he will face on Sunday and he is only going to improve for that first experience with the off spring of Caravaggio doing well so far this season.

The next pick of the day comes in the 1m5f Maiden and the Aidan O'Brien trained Malawi looks the one to beat from his form so far.

The son of Galileo made his debut in May over 10.5f at Dundalk and he only saw one better than him and it was the smart Baron Zee.

Stepping up in trip could be the making of him and with many of this field making there debuts that experience edge could be the key in this event.

It could be a good day for Joseph O'Brien at Navan on Sunday as in this event over a mile he fields Belmont Avenue who looks a big improver.

The three year old was seen twice last term as a juvenile finishing a head second on debut at Cork over a mile and then at The Curragh next time out ran no sort of race.

Looking to put that blip behind him on debut this term he got off the mark in fine style, beating a good field over a mile at Dundalk and if improving once more he could go close again getting back on turf.

The Royal County Handicap over 1m2f sees our penultimate selection of the afternoon and Bear Story for Michael Halford looks a solid contender.

The three year old was a bright juvenile last term, needing the run on debut in September, but then running twice at Dundalk over a mile and finishing runner up and also getting off the mark at the third time of asking.

This season the colt made his seasonal debut over 10f at Leopardstown and he finished a good second to the talented Sir Lamorak and that looks like some of the best form on offer, being only 2lb higher than that run.

The final selection of the afternoon in Ireland is the Median Auction Fillies' Maiden over 1m2f and the horse that takes the eye is Mother Country for William McCreery.

The three year old filly has only been seen once to date and it came this season when finishing midfield over a mile at Naas.

The son of Dawn Approach has enough stamina in his pedigree to handle the step up to 1m2f and you don't see many Godolphin horses with this yard and when they do have one its worth taking notice of.
