The latter is a smart filly who boasts some strong form from her five career starts and as a daughter of No Nay Never she is likely to go well on AW debut, but Clive Cox’s grey colt is the one we are siding with.

Having just his third start this Group 1 entered juvenile is progressing nicely and he ran a blinder from an un-favoured draw at the Ebor Festival.

On ratings he has a bit to find with his market rival but he isn’t done improving yet.

We have skipped what looks a puzzle in the 13:45 and move on to the 'My Odds Boost' On Betfair Handicap where we have the perfect eight runner field over 1m6f for three year olds.

Typically Mark Johnston has two runners and with both likely to be ridden prominently a strong pace is anticipated which will suit Valley Forge, who displayed a likeable attitude when landing a valuable handicap at the York Ebor meeting.

The son of Dansili is unexposed in both handicaps and at staying trips so further improvement is possible and he has a clear liking for good ground.

This Sea The Stars colt is the best horse in the race and he should take all the beating en-route to the Arc - a path Enable used a couple of times before her retirement.

He has the beating of his main rival Outbox on previous form, though with this likely to be a tactically run affair Luke Morris may get an easy lead up-front, therefore we are hoping Jim Crowley stalks him throughout in oppose to sitting confidently off the pace.

We have two each-way fancies for the Lavazza Stakes (Heritage Handicap).This 3-y-o handicap is a tricky puzzle with all of them still open to any amount of improvement but at 6/1 we believe Alfaadhel will run well carrying top weight for Roger Varian.

Night Of Thunder is an ever going recommendation as a sire and this progeny has been progressing race to race with his recent second at Glorious Goodwood rating a useful piece of form.

He has had a nice break since then and should be primed to run a big race here.

The feature race of the day is the Sprint Cup where the classy Starman currently heads the betting at around even money.

Though his price doesn’t posses massive value, this superstar sprinter should take all the beating returned to a quicker surface as his victory over Dragon Symbol in the Darley July Cup is the standout piece of form on offer and he had some of today’s rivals in-behind that day.

His third in the Group 1 Maurice De Gheest can be marked up as that run came on ground much too soft and he still performed with credit hitting the front around the 200m point.

The distinct lack of pace on offer here makes this a potentially messy affair which could play into the hands of Maxi Boy, who looks one of the likely contenders to take up the prominent tactics under Cieren Fallon.

This colt hasn’t quite matched his top class juvenile form however he has ran respectably in a couple of useful handicaps already this season and he certainly wouldn’t be out of turn popping up here with the yard going well.

He is the least exposed in the field as a 4-y-o and the bookies have him as big as 11/1.
