Only seen once on the flat when in the care of Joseph O’Brien, the now Jack Jones’ runner was well beaten in a maiden event before being sent for his hurdles debut only 2 weeks later.

Winning with bundles in hand on his first outing over timber, the form of that run looks quite strong and since has been sent to the Jones stable to continue his training over jumps.

He will have learnt plenty for his win and will likely take a big step forward for the experience. Overpriced compared to others in the field.

A decent handicapper over the years for Tom Lacey, Tea Clipper graduated from the handicap hurdle ranks to being equally as consistent over fences.

A good 3rd in a big Grade 3 event last season off a mark of 145, he then wasn't disgraced in 6th in a deep renewal of the Ultima at the Cheltenham Festival back in March.

A satisfactory seasonal comeback at Chepstow last month saw him come a decent 2nd behind Stolen Silver, but more importantly dropped to a lowly looking mark of 136. Off this revised mark, he can go close in this class 3 event at a course he's run well at previously.

An interesting novice chase this with plenty of interlocking lines of form, Broadway Boy looks to have been overpriced in the market for what he's achieved over fences so far this season.

A decent hurdler who scored a class 2 event here at Cheltenham at the end of the season, Broadway Boy was then sent over fences for his first outing of this campaign and won smartly at Worcester, beating a subsequent winner.

Last seen here in the Novice event won by Flooring Porter, although not of the quality of that multiple Grade One winning rival, he shaped well to be 2nd despite bad mistakes at the last two flights. He's likely to get his own way up in front and with some more chase experience under his belt can go close again.

A talented hurdler for the Skeltons it looked like it was going to be more of the same for Unexpected Party over fences last season but the 8 year old however he failed to win any of his starts over the bigger obstacles last season.

Returning to racing this campaign, he immediately broke his duck over fences when scalping Knappers Hill in a listed contest who's since gone on to frank the form.

Raised to a mark of 146 for that win, it's still within his grasp to be competitive off this mark and might just have turned a corner as a chaser.

Jonjo O'Neil's charge began a quick ascension through the staying handicap hurdle ranks last season winning twice in May before going close another two times through the summer.

Defying a hefty weight to win narrowly at Kelso back in September teed him up nicely for a run here at Cheltenham last month where the 6 year old only found the impressive Hyland too good up the hill

Raised another 3lbs for that, he is starting to look more exposed but has been improving still through the year and can hit the frame again despite the attentions of the handicapper.

Although Springwell Bay looked a decent type last season coming 6th in a Grade one at the end of the campaign, he'll have to lug a big weight around here on seasonal comeback and might just be susceptible to Olly Murphy's Resplendent Grey.

Scoring twice over timber at the tail end of last season Resplendent Grey then made an very pleasing comeback to be 2nd in the Persian War Novices' Hurdle behind Captain Teague.

He's only been given a mark of 127 for that outing and gets plenty of weight from the favourite. Arriving match fit and well weighted, he can make his presence felt.

There's plenty in with a chance in this and with us only having a handful of form to work with it's a tricky race to navigate.

However there looks to be a bit of value available with Martin Keighley's Springs A GIrl who scored with a bit in hand at Listowel back in September with the form being franked since with the 3rd going on to win over hurdles.

She'll likely take a step forward for that experience and is a touch overpriced at a double figure price on what she's achieved.
