Horses To Follow From Dundalk On Friday

17:45 - Alabaster

The first runner we like the look of at Dundalk on Friday night is the Denis Hogan trained Alabaster that holds some strong form claims in this one.

The five year old gelding is very consistent not finishing out the top three in his last seven events and although not winning much he looks to have a strong chance.

Last week over 1 mile 2 furlongs he finished a staying on second , having now been handed a smart draw and stepping up in trip he could be in the mix.

18:15 - Johan Zoffani

The next race is the six furlong Maiden and Johan Zoffani looks the one to beat from his three runs to date having not finished outside the top two in all of them.

He started his career at Naas finishing runner up on good ground, he stepped up to a better contest at the Curragh and again finished second.

His latest run was the best of the lot showing plenty of improvement to finish behind a nicely bred colt for Aidan O'Brien who went on from that to run in a Group Three.

18:45 - War Hero

The final runner for us from Dundalk is the Adrian McGuinness trained War Hero in the six furlong Handicap and this four year old heads here in great form.

This gelding has placed in six of his last 10 runs going on to win one of them. He has placed nicely in his last two runs and comes back here after a little break.

He finished second at Laytown last time out and now only two pounds higher for that run gives him a chance in the weights here.
