The first of horses we are backing in the double is the Caspar Fownes trained Fast Pace that is a highly consistent five year old at Happy Valley and should give his running again.
The gelding has been seen four times this year and has not finished outside of the top three on any of those occasions.
Having finished third at the start of January over 8.5 furlongs at Happy Valley, he then backed that up over the same course and distance when winning a nice event.
He went up 5lb in the handicap for that win, but took that in his stride when another close second in February.
He was last seen over todays trip at Sha Tin and he finished a narrow third behind some smart horses, but that was his first try over 1m1f and gets anther chance at it today on what looks to still be a mark he can improve on.
