The first race of the day sees the first selection in the each way lucky 15 and Shinealot takes the eye with Zac Purton taking the ride.
The six year old seems to have been running at the wrong trip for some times, being sent out over seven furlongs and a mile and unfortunately running weak races.
However, last time out he was stepped up to 1m3f over course and distance and was a close fifth of 12 and now 1lb lower for that run and showing clear ability at this trip, he is worth another go.

Next up at Happy Valley is the Class 1 Handicap over a mile and the horse that takes the eye at a nice price is Fast Most Furious.
We are looking for a quick-fire double for Zac Purton with this horse looking to improve off the back off his last run at Sha Tin which saw him bounce back to form.
Having been struggling in Hong Kong, last time out over seven furlongs he finished a good third of nine in the Chinese New Year Cup.
He is down another 1lb for that run and stepping up in trip and getting back to Happy Valley, where his better runs have come, make him a live player.

The third leg of the lucky 15 comes in the penultimate event of the day which sees a Class 3 Handicap over six furlongs and Kurpany looks to be in some smart form.
The four year old in his last four runs, which have all came over five furlongs at Happy Valley, has placed in three event and has gone on to win two of those contests.
Having finished second in December off a mark of 61, he then went up 1lb and got off the mark on his first run of the year.
Up to a mark of 73 he finished a close fourth over the same course and distance and then off the same mark got back to winning ways.
Although he has gone up another 8lb in the handicap he looks a highly progressive horse and with doing his best work in the latter stages of the race the extra furlong should suit him.

The final event of the day bring our last selection and it comes in the Class 3 Handicap over a mile and Incanto Prepared for John Size has a huge chance.
The five year old has been in the form of his life over the last few months, winning three of his last four events and all of those wins have come over course and distance.
In early December he got off the mark for the first time in his career and has not looked back since, backing that up two days before Christmas.
Going up in the weights he has had to adapt and on his first race this term finished a smart fourth and then last time out off the same mark of 67 got back to winning ways in nice style.
He is up another 5lb for that win, but he is still receiving weight off the rest of the field and if staying this progressive curve is one to follow.
