13:50 - Ballyquin 10/1

The final day at Goodwood gets underway with the Stewards Sprint Handicap over six furlongs and this race is classed as a consolation for the horses that could not get into the Stewards Cup.

We have sided with Ballyquin in this one and the four year old has been in superb form this season running to a good standard in all his races but especially when on turf.

He has had two starts on turf this season and has finished second on both occasions which is strong form and his yard won this race last year which is a bonus.

14:25 - Outbox 8/1

The Qatar Summer Handicap over 1 mile 6 furlongs sees many familiar stayers go to post and Simon Crisford's Outbox looks a big improver.

As a three year old this gelding was unbeaten winning all three of his races in good style with the majority of them over 1 mile 4 furlongs.

This season he has not been quiet as good finishing second on debut over in France in a Listed contest that he should of won and then sixth of 17 in the bet365 Trophy at Newmarket.

He ran to a much better standard that day and looks like he will come on for that and this son of Frankel still holds plenty of potential.

15:00 - South Sea Pearl 10/1

The big Group 2 of the day is the Lillie Langtry Stakes for Fillies and Mares over 1 mile 6 furlongs and we have gone for the Aidan O'Brien trained South Sea Pearl.

She is the best chance from the Ballydoyle yard as O'Brien runs three in the race and this filly who scored superbly last time out at Leopardstown when taking a Listed contest over this trip today.

She stayed on strongly under a great ride from Ryan Moore and with the same partnership at it again in a quick turn around for the three year old she has to be taken seriously.

15:40 - Khaadem 10/1

The race that is seen to be the most competitive across the whole five day meeting is the Stewards Cup and the Charles Hills trained Khaadem is our fancy.

This three year old has very low mileage racing six times in his career winning three of them and placing in another two showing how consistent he is.

This season he has not been as good as his juvenile career but his latest second in the Group 3 Hackwood Stakes shows he still retains his potential and is a smart colt.

16:15 - Gold Souk

The Stallions Maiden Stakes over seven furlongs sees a hot Class 2 for newcomers to the racing world and Mark Johnston's Gold Souk looks a serious player in this one.

SDS takes the saddle on the two year old and the colt has raced twice in his career finishing seventh on debut at Newbury on soft ground which was poor but then finished a better third at Newmarket next time out.

Mark Johnston has had happy memories in this race winning it two years ago with the yards superstar Dee Ex Bee showing what sort of horse Gold Souk could turn out to be.

16:50 - Land Of Legends

Land Of Legends is our pick in the seven furlong Qatar Handicap and this Saeed bin Suroor trained three year old is heading into this one in search of a hat-trick.

Figures of 2511 in all of his races to date shows that he has started to get the hangs of things of late, especially last time out when he scored on handicap debut over this distance.

Should flourish in the conditions and the quicker the course gets the better for this colt as he loves fast ground and he could turn out to be another smart Godolphin juvenile.

17:25 - Gifts Of Gold

The final runner of the week at Goodwood from us is another one from the Godolphin camp and Saeed bin Suroor with Gifts Of Gold.

Has only raced three times during his career and as a three year old finished second twice in two Class 5 events at Ripon at Pontefract and he looked to have plenty of ability.

On his stole start as a four year old he got off the mark in fine style in a maiden over 1 mile 2 furlong at Salisbury and that makes him a big player in this one.
