Friday Night Under The Lights At Dundalk 29/09/18

19:30 - Ming 11/8

The first of our selections is in the Group 3 Recruit Island Diamond Stakes over 1 mile 2 furlongs where a lot of sharp three year olds go to post.

Ming trained by Joseph O'Brien is our selection in this race with brother Donnacha O'Brien on board. This horse has been fairly consistent this year either winning or being out the fold completely.

Three wins in his last five races makes him favourite today and when he last run he came a good sixth in the Group 1 Secretariat Stakes where he didn't get a clear run. The one to beat today

20:30 - Velsen 6/1

The second of our selections is in the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey And Trainer 2018 Handicap Division I over 1 mile 4 furlongs where a lot of experienced horses go to post.

Velsen trained by John Oxx who trained Sea the Stars has one of the most unexposed horses in this race ad he can use that to his advantage.

He has only raced three times and they have all been modest runs but stepping up to his handicap debut could bring the best out of him if staying this trip.

21:00 - Rabbie The Bard 20/1

The final horse of our selections is in the Group 3 Recruit Island Diamond Stakes over 1 mile 2 furlongs where a lot of sharp three year olds go to post.

This five year old is to be feared today after some really disappointing performances of late but today he is on a really nice mark where he can be competitive again.

Since his last run at Dundalk he is 15 pounds lower and adding to this is a handy seven pound claimer in Ben Coen making him 22 pound lighter. This is dangerous especially at 20/1, big chance today.
